DigiEgg
A DigiEgg is a special item dropped occasionally by Wild Digimon. Cracked DigiEggs are most commonly found which can be refund for money, Intact DigiEggs usually contain supply items or racial Data, and on rare occasions a player may receive a Mercenary DigiEgg from a Wild Digimon, allowing the hatching of a Mercenary Digimon. They are named according to the various Digimon types, such as "Beast DigiEgg", depending on the type of Digimon that dropped them. Each type is separated into different ranks from 1 to 7. Within each rank, they are further categorized into classes ranging from low to super class. Higher ranks and classes will typically provide better items.
Rank1/DATA DigiEgg of each Digimon type is similar to the above except that scanning them will guaranteed 100% chance of getting Digimon Data for hatching Mercenary Digimons.
Normal DigiEggs consist of Aquatic DigiEgg, Beast DigiEgg, Bird DigiEgg, Devil DigiEgg, Dragon DigiEgg, Fire DigiEgg, Insect DigiEgg, Plant DigiEgg, Mutant DigiEgg and Rock DigiEgg.

Very rarely, a Wild Digimon will drop a Mercenary DigiEgg, which is distinctly marked with an aura and named after the Digimon that dropped it (e.g. "Guilmon DigiEgg"). This DigiEgg can be used in the hatching of a Mercenary Digimon, if supplied with enough DATA.
When scanned, the DigiEgg is consumed while giving player a high chance of acquiring a desirable Digicore or Data.
Events and Cash Shop Mercenary DigiEgg
Mercenary DigiEggs can also be bought at the Cash Shop with real money and they are 100% hatchable with at least a minimum of 3rd phase reached. Players can choose a specific Digimon Mercenary DigiEgg that they like, then a DigiEgg level of 3, 4 or 5 will be determined randomly after scanning it. The final DigiEgg obtained will have the following info: Name of Digimon, DigiEgg Level, as well as the maximum Evolution Stage that has been unlocked, and it will be ready for hatching.
Mystery Mercenary DigiEgg, Mystery Mercenary DigiEgg - Alpha and Mystery Mercenary DigiEgg- Beta are available in Cash Shop as well as some events. For example, during daily connection event, players need to log in for a specific amount of time in order to collect event coins, which in turn can be exchanged for these DigiEggs and other items. A Level 3 DigiEgg of a random digimon will be given after scanning.
Random Reinforced Mercenary DigiEgg - Alpha and Random Reinforced Mercenary DigiEgg - Beta are found only in events. The Digimon and DigiEgg Level (from 3 to 5) are determined randomly.
